Township Rollers recently held a week long pre-season training camp at the state of the art Royal Marang High Performance Centre in Rustenburg, North West South Africa.

At the venue where the England national football squad camped during the World Cup 2010, the Rollers squad got to work under the tutelage of head coach Mogomotsi "Teenage" Mpote and the coaching staff, preparing their physical shape as well as tactical awareness ahead of the new season.

During the week long camp, Rollers played three closed door friendly matches; a 3-1 loss to SuperSport United in Pretoria, a 1-1 draw with Marumo Gallants in Johannesburg, and a 1-0 victory over Orbit College in Rustenburg.

Rollers had previously travelled to Namibia where the Blues played African Stars in Windhoek.

The Botswana Premier League 2024-25 season is due to commence on Saturday, September 21, with Rollers facing traditional city rivals Gaborone United in a mouthwatering Gaborone Derby.
